Guide to Selecting the Right Air Compressor
Knowing the following information will guide you to the right air compressor:
Cubic Feet Per Minute (CFM) – the volume of air delivered by an air compressor is measures in (CFM). The amount of compressed air required to operate pneumatic tools and equipment is also measured in CFM. Add up the CFM required to operate each pneumatic tool or piece of equipment that may be operated at the same time. This will be the total CFM required during Peak Demand.
PSI – the force of compressed air is measured in pounds per square inch (PSI).
